Europanels metal-clad sandwich panel consists of a structural-insulating core permanently bonded to an exterior and interior steel cladding. In the case of panels with an EPS polystyrene core, the core is glued to the cladding with a special polyurethane-based adhesive. In this case, we speak of core discontinuity. In contrast, PU polyurethane core panels are characterized by core continuity (physical, thermal continuity), since the core is both an insulating and adhesive element (adhesion to the cladding).
