Europanels sandwich panel with metal cladding and EPS core consists of EPS sheets (blocks) permanently bonded to the outer and inner cladding through a high-temperature polyurethane adhesive process.

The polystyrene blocks that make up the core are given as a whole, i.e. they are dimensionally prepared in advance for the thickness of the panel and its modular width. Due to the limitation of the length of the block (we use 3m blocks), there is a need to connect the blocks to each other along the length. To ensure the required rigidity, the joints of the blocks are milled.

A characteristic feature of EPS-core sandwich panels is the lack of continuity of the core in the thermal aspect (in the thickness of the panel we have both the polystyrene foam and the adhesive layer) and the physical aspect (the bonding of the blocks). However, EPS panels are relatively lightweight and much cheaper than panels using other types of cores used in sandwich panels (polyurethanes, mineral wool).
