The following charts present differences of thermal properties between insulation materials which are used as sandwich panel core. Sandwich panels with mineral wool are used because of fire regulations. EPS cored panels are the cheapest way to make a building envelope. Finally, continuous PU core is the best in terms of thermal insulation and final appearance.
